🕵️ How a round works

Bluffo is 'Who's the Undercover' — a word game of blending in and sniffing out the odd one out.

• Everyone secretly gets a word. Most players share the same word; the undercover gets a similar-but-different one — say everyone has 'apple' and the undercover has 'pear'. Bigger games can hide more than one undercover.
• On your turn, describe your word out loud — without ever saying the word itself.
• Listen for the description that doesn't quite fit. Then discuss, and vote for who you think is the undercover.
• The most-voted player is eliminated. Civilians win by voting the undercover out; the undercover wins by blending in and surviving to the end.
• Roles and the word pair stay hidden all round, then the scoreboard drops at the end — and you can rematch on the spot.
